The weakness was disclosed 07/07/2003 by Hugo Vázquez Caramés with Infohacking Team as not defined posting (Bugtraq). The advisory is shared at securityfocus.com. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available. The price for an exploit might be around USD $0-$5k at the moment (estimation calculated on 06/26/2019). MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1059.007 for this issue.
