Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Alkacon OpenCms before 6.0.3 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the username in the login page.

The bug was discovered 10/27/2005. The weakness was published 12/15/2005 by Marc Ruef with scip AG (Website). The advisory is available at vuldb.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2005-4294 since 12/16/2005. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation.
